About The Process

Building trust

This work requires honesty and consent with yourself.  Real honesty.  I’m talking about what you say to yourself vs. what is really true.  


When you are only 40% happy but you say you’re 90% happy, this is a lie.  Your body knows this.  We have to start from an authentic place so that we know what we are working truly with, to navigate healing.   One of the surprises is when we get honest about this basic foundation, it removes the judgment and provides some grace.  


This is now about building trust with yourself, through building trust with your body, which means you have to show it you are trustworthy, by being honest.  When your body trusts you, it gives you consent.  When your body gives you consent, it gets EXCITED to work WITH you!!!  This takes time, AND it's really FUN!   

What to expect

In this practice, you can expect to open, connect, and be with your inner self in an honest way.  You can expect to learn what parts of yourself need care. Then, you get to choose what you do with that information. This is where the real work is, and it takes tremendous courage.

What I offer

My background

I am an educated, trauma-informed yoga instructor, personal trainer, and a narcissistic abuse survivor, giving me extensive experience and knowledge in understanding the emotional/physical relationship and how to integrate those two pieces into the whole self.  With 30+ yrs experience, I use my knowledge in yoga, physical therapy, emotional intelligence, and authentic compassion to assist people to gently acknowledge, validate, move, and actually heal trauma.


I designed this curriculum, because I HAD to heal from the root of my trauma. 

My Approach

My approach to trauma recovery is gentle and begins with honesty and consent. Finding authentic consent in your body is crucial to your body's cooperation. Learning how to have a healthy relationship with yourself is crucial to heal.  There are ways to do this gently and sweetly. YOU get to design it.  YOU are the choreographer, the curator, and the composer.
